By creating an account, accessing, or using BillSync, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using BillSync on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using BillSync and may not access or use our Service.

To use BillSync, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• All activities that occur under your account

• Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide

• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

• Maintaining and updating your account information as necessary

You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

BillSync provides a platform for managing municipal council bills. You may use our Service to:

• Access and view your municipal bills digitally

• Track and analyze your bill history

• Receive payment reminders and notifications

• Manage multiple properties from a single dashboard

• Connect your municipal accounts securely

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use BillSync for your personal or business use, subject to these Terms.

You agree to use BillSync in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful information

• Maintaining the security of your account

• Using the Service only for lawful purposes

• Respecting the intellectual property rights of others

• Not interfering with or disrupting the Service

• Not attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

• Complying with all municipal regulations and requirements

• Ensuring you have the right to access and manage the bills you connect to your account

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

• Infringing on intellectual property rights

• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

• Using automated systems to access the Service without authorization

• Impersonating others or providing false information

• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users

• Collecting or harvesting user information without consent

• Using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and legal action.

BillSync and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BillSync and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You acknowledge that:

• All content, logos, designs, and software are proprietary to BillSync

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service

• You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

• Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property

You retain ownership of any content you submit to BillSync, but grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content as necessary to provide the Service.

BillSync offers both free and premium service tiers:

• Free Tier: Basic bill management features are available at no cost

• Premium Tier: Additional features may be available for a subscription fee

If you subscribe to premium features:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis

• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

• You are responsible for all taxes applicable to your use of the Service

• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of premium features

BillSync does not process payments for municipal bills. You are responsible for making payments directly to your municipality.

We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to BillSync, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

• That the Service will meet all your requirements

• That defects will be corrected immediately

• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service

• Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt service

• Update features and functionality

We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy

• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

• Fail to pay required fees (for premium features)

• Use the Service in a manner that harms us or other users

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease

• We may delete your account and data (subject to our Privacy Policy)

• You remain responsible for any obligations incurred before termination

• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

BillSync is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of bill information

• That the Service will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free

• That defects will be corrected

We do not guarantee that bill information provided by municipalities is accurate, complete, or up-to-date. You should verify important information directly with your municipality.

BillSync is not responsible for municipal billing errors, payment processing, or disputes between you and your municipality.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillSync and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

• Any municipal billing errors or payment issues

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BillSync, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use or misuse of the Service

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any third-party rights

• Any content you submit or transmit through the Service

• Your connection of accounts you do not have authorization to manage

We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will:

• Post the updated Terms on our website

• Update the 'Last Updated' date

• Notify you via email or through the Service

• Provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes

Your continued use of BillSync after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes.
